The dose-honest rule

The melatonin dose
tells you everything.

Most sleep products sell melatonin at 3–10 mg, which overshoots your biology and dampens your own supply over time. Night Shift uses 0.3 mg — the dose shown to move the body clock without that cost. The caffeine is slow-release at 100 mg, dosed to last the shift, not spike the first hour.

Will the caffeine stop me sleeping after my shift?

The On-Shift caffeine is slow-release at 100 mg and taken at the start of the shift; the separate Post-Shift packet has no caffeine and is built to bring you down. Taken as directed, they're timed not to collide.

Is 0.3 mg of melatonin enough?

That's deliberate. 0.3 mg is the circadian-reset dose; higher OTC doses (3–10 mg) overshoot and can suppress your natural melatonin. With melatonin, less is the point.
